David Dockter grew up in Colorado during the 50s and the 60s. A quintessential man who grew up in the west is the best way to describe him. Before he began writing, he went through rodeo, fishing, hunting, and working for several dairies hauling hay. He now lives in Ordway, Colorado, where he’s active in the community and church. Safe to say, his experiences inspired him to craft his book “Wagon Train Orphan.”
