Wayne Scott Harral Pens an International Sci-Fi Mystery Novel Teasing the Possibility of a Crime on the Moon

The author’s novel alludes to the humans’ temperament and tendency to commit the worst, even in space, yet our overall passion to do good and do our best will prevail.

San Diego, CA – WEBWIRE

Will humankind be prepared for the first time a human life will be taken by another while living on the Moon?

Humankind’s natural curiosity to explore – and colonize – space also coexists with its propensity for crime. So, should the colonization of the Moon be made possible in the next few years, man will carry with him the ability and drive to achieve phenomenal advances, while still bringing the temperament that will make crime possible. Or is it a crime if a murder is committed on the Moon? Author Wayne Scott Harral raises the possibility and question in his international science fiction/ mystery novel “Moon Luck” (ReaderMagnet; 2021).

“Moon Luck” takes place in 2039. A group of thirty astronauts has been living on the Moon, in a base that’s been in existence for ten years. These scientists and explorers grow plants, plan and conduct experiments, seek out the Moon’s resources and take on other activities that prepare the Moon for human colonization.

An explosion occurs on the moon base station, leaving one astronaut dead. No one else is killed or injured. As investigation reveals, the explosion had occurred in one of the maintenance modules of the Moon base station, fortunately with limited damage. It did not appear that the astronaut caused the explosion but was unfortunate to be in the module at the time of the explosion.

Is it an accident or a murder? If it is murder, who committed the crime? What is the motive for the crime? But is it murder if it happens on the Moon?

“Moon Luck” will leave the reader restless, turning the pages at pace and desperate to catch the culprit while trying to answer the question: “Is it murder if it happens on the Moon?” The book has all the qualities of not only a hard-to-put-down page turner but also a solid thriller that should be adapted to television for its tense storyline and gripping plot.

Who is behind the ‘murder’ on the Moon? Help uncover the crime and determine just who did it and why in Wayne Scott Harral’s “Moon Luck.” Order a copy on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, ReadersMagnet Bookstore, and the author’s website at https://scottharral.com/.
