On November 7th Pinterest released its first-ever holiday campaign titled “Gift Like You Get Them”. The campaign shows how Pinners can use basic Pinterest features—Boards and Search—to be a better gifter this holiday season. Pinterest tapped creative agency Funworks to help us tell this story in a humorous and lighthearted way. Via 5 spots running on social, programmatic online video, and connected TV, we introduce all-too-common “bad gifter” personas and show how with a little thought (and a little help from Pinterest), even the worst offenders can find a gift that truly says “I get you.”
