Catch Steven F. Verzal’s book display at NYLA 2022 Annual Conference and Trade Show.

The non-fiction book The Silent Badge by Steven F. Verzal is all set to be displayed by ReadersMagnet at the New York Library Association 2022 Annual Conference and Trade Show on November 3–4, 2022, at the Saratoga Springs City Center at 522 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

The Silent Badge guides its readers through the decision-making process to the point where people aspire to become police officers. This book includes examples of situations that police officers could encounter on the job. The tales may be a little old, but the events they depict are very much a part of the modern world.

Stops for traffic violations, felony investigations, and suicide attempts by young people are all still issues that police must deal with. In the past few years, there have been more police officers killed at domestic (or unknown disturbance) scenes.

Amazing author Steven F. Verzal spent thirty years writing this book. He’s kicked it off, paused it, then kicked it off again. He finished the book because he heard that a close relative was thinking about becoming a police officer.
