Vincent Vezza is New Senior VP at Films Media Group

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. - Films Media Group, the leading source of high-quality video and multimedia programs for the education market, has appointed Vincent Vezza as Senior Vice President of Sales and Direct Marketing.

In his new role, Mr. Vezza will launch sales and direct marketing initiatives that support and accelerate FMG’s movement into new markets, growth channels and media platforms. He will lead a seasoned sales and direct marketing team responsible for identifying strategic sales opportunities at both the institutional and individual level and executing integrated marketing strategies across multiple channels.

Mr. Vezza has a broad and varied background in the education market that spans more than twenty years. Most recently, he was Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Professional Development for Failure Free Reading. Here he expanded a regional company brand to reach the national education market, significantly grew a new services line of business to reach supplemental education services and leveraged publishing partnerships to increase presence in the school markets. Prior, Mr. Vezza served as vice president, sales and marketing for Sunburst Technology – a division of the Houghton Mifflin Publishing Company - where he led the sales and marketing team to increase domestic and international sales.

Additionally, Mr. Vezza was Marketing Manager, Higher Education at Compaq Computer Corporation and Director of Sales at Cogito Learning Media, Inc. He launched his career with a variety of management roles at Apple Computer, Inc., most recently as National Market Manager, Higher Education.
