ORLANDO, Fla. - Pentaho Corp., creator of the world’s most popular open source business intelligence suite, has announced that iStockphoto has deployed Pentaho for business intelligence. iStockphoto takes advantage of Pentaho’s popular and affordable subscription support model to address key business needs in the areas of data integration and reporting, and enlisted the skills of Pentaho Certified Partner OpenBI to deliver consulting and training services as part of the deployment.

iStockphoto uses Pentaho Data Integration to address their Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) needs, integrating data from different transaction systems into a data warehouse. The application is deployed on a Linux server, pulling information from a MySQL database, using a JBoss application server.
