Pride 2022 on Twitch: Celebrate LGBTQIA+ Creators All Month Long

We’re celebrating all the LGBTQIA+ Creators on Twitch. All the authenticity. All the community. All the personality. All the self-expression. All that they bring to Twitch and all the ways they make it a more welcoming and more inclusive place every day. 

Join us and meet all the incredible LGBTQIA+ gamers, chefs, just chatters, and more on the “Celebrate Pride” recommended section on the Twitch Front Page. You can also discover and celebrate all the amazing events taking place all over the world such as a first annual Twitch Prom, a fundraiser celebrating authenticity. It’s a Global Celebration!

Starting June 1st, we’ll be kicking off Pride Month across the pond in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy, with local front page features, social and email spotlights, and a special festival weekend jam-packed with amazing LGBTQIA+ Creator content. There’ll be month-long celebrations on the other side of the globe in Australia and New Zealand as well, with ANZ LGBTQIA+ Creators being showcased all over the local front page and socials throughout Pride Month!

OUTLOUD Raising Voices Music Festival 

Hosted by the City of West Hollywood as part of the inaugural WEHO PRIDE Celebration (and with Marina, Lil Kim, Jessie J, Years & Years, and Madison Beer as some of the headliners), the OUTLOUD Raising Voices Music Festival is a 3-Day, award-winning LGBTQ+ Music Festival profiling and celebrating Queer artistry as a kick-off concert to PRIDE Month.

Join the celebration of artistry, identity, and inclusivity of up-and-coming and established talent within the LGBTQIA+ community June 3-5 on /officiallyOutloud.

Twitch Prom

Team Transtopia, a Twitch stream team comprised exclusively of transgender and gender diverse content creators, is hosting its first annual Twitch Prom. For many of us, prom, debutante balls, and the like were spaces we never felt we could be our true selves to the fullest. Team Transtopia, powered by Twitch, is partnering with StreamElements, GLSEN, and John Frieda, and going all out to show it’s never too late to celebrate your authenticity. What’s more, you can hop onto some fantastic virtual dance floors (that you can host on your own stream by joining the campaign here) and help raise funds for GLSEN throughout the month of June. Team Transtopia will host the last (for this year) prom dance floor call on Saturday, June 25 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. PST at twitch.tv/teamtranstopia.

Fundraise for Charity

During Pride Month, there are many ways to go support the LGBTQIA+ Community through charitable efforts! Consider fundraising for one of the many charities located on Streamlabs Charity providing support to LGBTQIA+ people in need. Beyond Pride Month, a large part of being supportive to the LGBTQIA+ Community is being open to learn, listen and educate yourself.
