Yat Partners With Cake Wallet to Simplify Crypto Transactions

Yat, the company transforming online identities through personalized emojis, today announced its integration with Cake Wallet and Monero.com to simplify crypto transactions. Cake Wallet is a leading noncustodial cryptocurrency wallet for BTC, LTC, XHV and XMR with over 200,000 users, and the first digital wallet to support emojis for crypto transactions. Starting May 26, the Yat community will be able to easily add their Cake Wallet addresses to their yats to be able to use emojis instead of long unwieldy addresses to send and receive crypto.

According to a recent survey by the University of Chicago, more than 1 in 10 Americans today invest in cryptocurrency. With the crypto community expanding to the masses, usability is becoming a central issue. Yat’s integration of digital wallet platforms like Cake Wallet’s signifies the company’s continued efforts towards changing the payments space to make it more user-friendly. The integration comes after Yat partnered with OpenSea, to give Yat users the chance to buy and sell yats as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the largest secondary market for NFTs in the world.

Yat and Cake Wallet are hosting a contest to celebrate this milestone. The competition entails creating a custom Yat that best captures the new integration and privacy for a chance to win 1 XMR.
