Fortnite via Xbox Cloud Gaming - FAQHow do I access Fortnite through Xbox Cloud Gaming?

On your iPhone or iPad, Android smartphone or tablet, or Windows PC, open your web browser and go to Xbox.com/play. From there, launch Fortnite. 

The supported web browsers for Xbox Cloud Gaming are: Safari, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Edge. Keep an eye on the Xbox support website for any updates to this list.

Fortnite through Xbox Cloud Gaming is available through browser only, and is not available to launch via the Xbox Cloud Gaming mobile app, Xbox app on Windows, or the Xbox console game library.

If I start playing Fortnite through Xbox Cloud Gaming, will my progress transfer over from other platforms?

If your accounts are linked, your progress will also transfer to other platforms you use your Epic account on.

Are all current Fortnite game modes available to play through Xbox Cloud Gaming?[/p]

 [p]On Windows devices, all current Fortnite game modes are available to play through Xbox Cloud Gaming, including Battle Royale, Zero Build, Impostors, Save the World, and community-made games.

On smartphones and tablets, Save the World is unavailable to play through Xbox Cloud Gaming. However, all other current Fortnite game modes are available to play.

    1. 10 Mbps or higher for iPhone, 20 Mbps or higher for iPad

    2. Connected to a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network (A 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network will work but isn’t currently optimized) 

    3. Cellular network connectivity also available

  • OS version: Android 6.0 or later
