tilr Online Talent Intelligence Platform Designed To Build Resilient Workforces Receives $1.3M Grant From Ontario Ministry of Labour, Training & Skills Development ’Skills Development Fund’ (SDF)

tilr, a Toronto-headquartered talent intelligence platform offering skills-first organizations artificial intelligence (‘A.I.’)-driven software solutions to build more resilient workplaces, is pleased to announce that the company has been allocated a $1.3 million (CDN) grant by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Labour & Skills Development. tilr aims to equip 50 of the province’s leading employers in the manufacturing, hospitality & tourism, and technology sectors with its employee training and re-skilling technology, at no cost.

This grant takes place on the heels of the Ministry of Labour, Training, and Skills Development announcement of a $200M Skills Development Fund (SDF) seeking to relieve pandemic-induced labor and financial impacts on businesses and the province’s priority sectors, supporting the quickest paths to employment opportunities alongside efforts to create innovative training ideas and solutions, and ultimately, improving organizations’ capacities to respond to market shocks, now and in future.
