This book will be handy and readers will enjoy it during their breaks.

“Teatime: A collection of short stories and other writings” by Chris Breva will be displayed at the Los Angeles Times Festival of books on April 23-24, 2022, at the University of Southern California campus, Los Angeles, CA.

This book is a compilation of stories for an entire family to enjoy. There is something for everyone in this book. It contains enough horror to stun even the most jaded reader. It features comedic elements that will make the readers laugh. For individuals who desire to escape into another world, there is fantasy. Poems are available for those who like a brief read. It also includes a selection of Christian literature and essays that can help people grow in their faith.

Teatime is a book that people can read while sipping tea, coffee, or hot cocoa. Because the stories are short, readers can finish one and put it aside in one sitting. It’s an excellent book to read right before sleep or to tuck a child in. These stories were written over the course of five years and span a wide range of subjects. Some have received accolades in a variety of genres.

Author
The author’s name is Chris Breva. He has been a writer since junior high school. His favorite form of writing is old-fashion rhyme poetry. He likes the simplicity of old-fashion rhyme. He likes all poetry, but old-fashioned rhyme is his favorite. He also likes short stories and other genres of writing.

Chris was born in Parkersburg, WV on Friday, June 9, 1961, which makes him 60years of age at this writing. (60). He grew up in neighboring St. Mary’s, WV on a farm so far out in the country that God pumped in the sunshine! The nearest neighbor was a quarter of a mile away. It was a 198-acre farm, and he knew every inch of it. He explored it over the seventeen years he lived there.

As an adult, Chris served a short time in the US Army. He received an honorable discharge and sort of deteriorated for a long time after that. The real turnaround in his life has been his faith. He has been a Christian most of his adult life. He has not always been a practicing Christian, however. He became a practicing Christian in 2012. Faith got him through the sudden death of his wife in 2014 and both his parents and brother in 2015-16. He moved to the West Virginia Veterans Home (WVVH) in 2017 and has lived there since.

Shortly after arriving at the WVVH, Chris became a soldier in the Salvation Army and is now the Community Care Ministries Secretary and Adult Sunday School teacher for his corps. He is also chaplain of the WVVH. He recently received his West Virginia Board of Alcohol and Addiction Prevention Professionals certification as a peer recovery support specialist and is currently working toward national certification. Chris also received his Regent Bachelor of Arts degree from Marshall University in Huntington, WV in 2019 and a second BA in chaplaincy from Christian Leaders Institute in Spring Lake MI. He is working toward a Master of Divinity from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA where he currently has a 3.90 GPA.
