“Releasing the Pain” by Michelle Moreno was displayed at the Tucson Festival of Books last March 12-13, 2022, at the University of Arizona Mall, Tucson, AZ.

Michelle Moreno, Author of the new book released called “Releasing the Pain” invites everyone to read her book. Her desire is to help people whose broken from a failed marriage, financial struggles, death of a loved one, or whatever may be causing them to live miserably.

Writing a book was not in her plan, she kept telling God: “I’m a Tax Specialist, not a writer! What would I even say? How would I begin?”

Michelle would write daily to help vent down the emotions she felt, devastated through the death of her father and his battle against cancer; and losing her husband to an affair. Michelle cried out loud for her husband, but kept on hearing her daddy’s voice telling her: “To run to God!” Michelle believes that God was using her daddy to speak God’s word into her life for preparation and her children for the season she was fixing to face.

Michelle can say that it wasn’t easy, many tears were shed, but she told God she wanted to heal the proper way. It’s easy to allow our broken hearts to run to anything that can numb the pain we feel: drugs, alcohol, sex, food, shopping, etc. All those can seem fun and exciting at the moment, but’s it’s just that, “a moment” the pain is still there. We bury the pain we feel under the temporary joys that life brings, but only God can truly fill that void in our lives, and bring us peace, joy, love, forgiveness, and deliverance.

People need to know that despite their differences, their background, and their lifestyle, there are still people who care about them. Many of us have been called outcasts, inadequate, unworthy, but that’s not what Jesus see’s in us. God sees potential in us, we just need to focus our eyes on Him, rather than what the world wants to label everyone, as we would start to walk with that boldness and confidence that we are worthy to be loved.

Michelle wants to continue to encourage you and speak LIFE (Jesus) into your life through her writing. The second book based on the book of Proverbs, God willing, will be published very soon.

Michelle Moreno’s kids didn’t know anything else when they talked to “grandpa-amigo,” and grandma would sing her worship songs to them. “They have gone to be with the LORD, and they are truly missed, but one day we will get to see our loved ones who have gone before us.” Michelle Moreno wants to thank all three of her kids, who have been by her side from the beginning of time, seeing her verbally and mentally abused, to now being the woman God has created her to be; to be strong, to love, to forgive, to be kind, to care for others, to help those in need, and to show God’s love to those even undeserving of love, why? Because God loved them first.
