Author Gregg K. Jann Tackles Mental Health in His Book “A Jann Plan”

“A Jann Plan” is a collection of essays generally focused on mental health. “The goal of the book is to make more authentic our economy to care and to source perspective designers,” said Jann, who writes mostly topics relating to mental health. The author says he is the “source perspective designer” of California’s 2004 Proposition 63, the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA).
 
“A Jann Plan” is a highly compelling book that pretty much sums up the works and thoughts of Jann in mental health advocacy and as a source perspective designer, as well as his commitment to accountability and interest in the person creator(s) at the beginning of the idea/endeavor of economics. The book is an Honorable Mention at the 2018 San Francisco Book Festival in the Business & Technology category.

Gregg K. Jann has worked in the mental health field for over 25 years, after a four-year retail management career in San Francisco.
 
Jann was source perspective designer of the Mental Health Services Act (CA 2004 Prop 63). Jann has strong interest for Teach Peace, which is built on his own elected school board work to spread with accountability.
 
Jann wrote “A Jann Plan” and was inspired to advocate to help others, like him, suffering with serious mental illness. He has never been hospitalized nor have a co-occurring substances issue. Jann is interested in the beginnings of economy, whose people are precarious and vulnerable sometimes too, in getting taken from like he feels he has and forced to live in poverty so far.
