DreamGirls Soundtrack Album Wins NAACP Award

HOUSTON, TX -- Music World Entertainment announced today that, “DREAMGIRLS - Music From the Motion Picture,” the official soundtrack album for the film, released by Music World Music/Columbia/Sony Music Soundtrax received the NAACP Award for Outstanding Soundtrack. The official announcement was made at the NAACP Awards live broadcast on Fox on March 2, 2007. The soundtrack is featured in the new smash hit, “Dreamgirls,” the acclaimed DreamWorks and Paramount Pictures film directed by Bill Condon. In addition to the NAACP Award, the “Dreamgirls” Movie, Soundtrack and gifted cast have been honored by countless nominations and wins, by prestigious organizations including: the Academy Awards (Oscars), Grammys, Golden Globes, SAG, BFAC and many others.
