Xaloy names new sales manager

Xaloy, a leading manufacturer of plasticizing components for injection and extrusion machinery in the global plastic processing industry, has named Jay Daab as its new sales manager, OEM Americas.

Daab will be responsible for driving profitable growth of the company’s Original Equipment Manufacturers segment in the Americas, developing the key account strategy for critical OEM accounts, and concentrating on Xaloy’s twin-barrel segment growth.

“Xaloy has partnered for decades with OEMs to develop new products and technologies for various applications within the plastics industry,” said Seeni Congivaram, Xaloy vice president, commercial. “Jay’s strong commercial skills will help us continue to strengthen our OEM partnerships to meet the evolving needs of the plastics industry.”

Daab most recently was director of business development at Triton-Molex. Previously he was director of outside sales and a regional sales manager for Polar Corporation’s Jarco Division and has extensive account management expertise working for companies including, Convergint Technologies, Siemens Building Technologies and Motor Coach Industries. Daab will be based out of his home office in Chicago and will visit customers and Xaloy facilities in Austintown and Pulaski, Virginia.
