Team USA and Team Toyota’s Nathan Chen Wins Second Olympic Medal at Olympic Winter Games
At 22 years old, Team Toyota’s Nathan Chen won his second Olympic medal as a member of the U.S. Olympic Figure Skating Team, taking second place in the team event at the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 on Monday, Feb. 7, 2022.
Chen competed in the men’s short program event during the team competition on Friday where he finished first and earned 10 points for Team USA with a personal best international short program score of 111.71. Three-time and reigning World champion and Grand Prix Final champion, Chen adds a silver medal to his 2018 Olympic bronze medal (team event). Chen’s Olympic podium appearance at the Winter Games follows his recent sixth-straight U.S. title at the 2022 Toyota U.S. Figure Skating Championships.
