COSTA MESA, Calif.--March 5, 2007--Ceradyne, Inc. (Nasdaq:CRDN) is scheduled to present at investment conferences sponsored by Citigroup and Friedman Billings Ramsey.

Ceradyne Chief Executive Officer Joel P. Moskowitz will speak at the Citigroup 20th Annual Global Industrial Manufacturing Conference being held March 6 -- 7, 2007 at the Grand Hyatt New York. Mr. Moskowitz’s presentation is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. EST on Wednesday, March 7, 2007.

Ceradyne Vice President of Armor Operations Marc King will speak at the 2007 FBR Washington Conference being held March 8, 2007 at The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City in Arlington, VA. Mr. King’s presentation is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. EST on Thursday, March 8, 2007.
