Lynk Appoints Industry Veteran from McKinsey & Company and GLG to Spearhead New Business and Strategic Partnerships

David Knight Legg will leverage over two decades of leadership experience to support business development and build global partnerships to meet growing demand for knowledge management and sharing

NEW YORK AND HONG KONG – WEBWIRE

Lynk, an AI-driven knowledge management platform, today announced the hiring of David Knight Legg as Advisor, New Business & Partnerships. Knight Legg brings over 20 years of leadership experience to Lynk from McKinsey & Company, Gerson Lehrman Group and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

Knight Legg was most recently the founding CEO and Board Senior Advisor of Invest Alberta, a corporation formed by the Government of Alberta, Canada, that works directly with global investors to promote the province as an international investment destination and cultivate investor and partner relationships. Prior to leading Invest Alberta, Knight Legg was Principal Advisor to the Premier of Alberta, where he focused on capital markets, investments, tax, sector diversification, indigenous equity participation, and environmental, social and governance matters.

“As we continue our expansion into new markets and evolve our suite of products, we need the right people in our corner to help further our mission to democratize knowledge and deliver a turnkey knowledge management system to our customers,” said Peggy Choi, founder and CEO of Lynk. “David is a terrific addition to Lynk and will be a key asset in helping us identify and build strategic partnerships that will accelerate our growth to transform the knowledge ecosystem.”

After spending over a decade working for global management consulting firms, Knight Legg was drawn to Lynk’s innovative technology and transformation to the traditional expert network and consultancy services industry. Knight Legg’s background in foreign investment and international trade, and significant executive leadership experience working in the public and private sector, will help him drive new opportunities for Lynk and cultivate global partnerships, similar to the company’s global alliance with UBS.

“I was looking for something new, and not necessarily in the expert network space. After conversations with Peggy and Matthew Creedon, Global Head of Strategic Partnerships at Lynk, I was impressed by how Lynk has redefined the expert network model, unlocking a wide range of new opportunities with the company’s strong tech backbone, rapid growth and strategic collaborations with leading global organizations like UBS,” said Lynk Advisor David Knight Legg. “Lynk is an innovator in the knowledge management and knowledge sharing space, and I’m excited to support the company as it migrates networks into the enterprise.”

Lynk’s proprietary AI-driven technology indexes individuals based on their expertise to match users with subject matter experts on its platform for a variety of engagement formats, from a quick conversation to consulting projects, to make knowledge sharing faster and easier than ever. The company is developing several new products, leveraging its technology stack to enable experts to build, access and share expertise flexibly at scale.

More than 250 global enterprises utilize Lynk’s platform, including UBS, DuPont, Pernod Ricard, Honeywell, Ernst & Young, KPMG, Deloitte, PwC, and more. Lynk recently obtained ISO 27001 certification for its data-driven solutions, demonstrating the company’s commitment to information security, user privacy and overall best practices of international business standards.
