“Cleophus the Clogging Cow” by Lionel Jones will be featured at the LA Times Festival in Spring 2022

Lionel Jones, author of “Cleophus the Clogging Cow” (Luminaire Press, 2021), will be featured at the LA Times Festival of Books in Spring 2022. This book tells a heartwarming story about a young cow’s friendship, self-esteem, and personal growth as he pursues his dream of becoming a champion clogger. The story begins with Cleophus, who works tirelessly to realize his dream of becoming a champion clogger with the help of his dear friend Claudia, the Clogging Cowgirl. With her help, he trains each and every day to work for his dream despite other people’s disbelief in him.
 
Cleophus, on the other hand, is not discouraged because he has a friend who believes in him and his ability to win the clogger competition. With Cleophus as an example, children learn how to respond to needling by staying focused on their dreams.
