“The Last Neanderthal Clan” is Charlie Boring’s Compelling Story Set in the Late Pleistocene Epoch About the Last Neanderthal Clan’s Struggle for Survival

Miami, FL – WEBWIRE

A story of what might have been as the last Neanderthals struggled for survival against an unforgiving environment, ferocious predators and encroaching Cro Magnon clans. Charlie Boring shares his extensive knowledge of prehistoric civilizations in a realistic story of life, love and war in a time that we know so little about. A narrative that reveals how these cave-dwelling tribes lived and their everyday practices.  The characters in this story will peak your interest and transport you back to a time when men roamed Europe in search of food and shelter from ever-present danger.

“The Last Neanderthal Clan” was born in the author’s mind as he invented tales to entertain his daughter, Lisa. Charlie traveled throughout Europe, where he walked the lands where these prehistoric men may have walked and where he penned the novel.

The story starts with the unique description of environments and European locales where cave dwellers hunted and sought shelter. During the period of the story, the ice age is slowly giving way to a warmer climate. Cro Magnon clans are competing for the same food sources as the Neanderthals. The Clan encounters various types of animals that thrived during that period, ranging from the wooly mammoth to the Irish elk and to the cave lion and other exotic beasts.

In its first chapters, the novel reveals the experience of most clans that has taught them that individuals and very small groups had very little chance of survival in such a hostile environment. Expulsion from one’s clan or the loss of too many members of a clan almost always resulted in the death of the clan. Will the last Neanderthals survive?

About the Author
Charlie Boring shared a lifelong interest in prehistoric civilizations with his late daughter, Lisa. Charlie lives in Virginia; but has traveled extensively in Europe, where he has set his novel. He hopes that you enjoy reading the novel as much as he enjoyed writing it.
