Xaloy Taps Mark Colella for Promotion

Xaloy has promoted Mark Colella to vice president of North American operations.
The company is a leading manufacturer of plasticizing components for injection and extrusion machinery in the global plastic processing industry. Colella will be responsible for overseeing the operations of its facilities in Austintown, Ohio and Pulaski, Virginia.

“Progress with on-time delivery-to-promise from our American facilities will be a focal area as we head into Y2022, and Mark will focus his extensive knowledge of the business to accelerate improvement of our on-time delivery performance, productivity and quality improvements and reduction in lead times,” said Xaloy CEO Kamal Tiwari. “Mark’s experience and commitment to providing solid leadership make him a logical choice. We look forward to seeing all he and his people will accomplish in the coming year.”

Colella earned his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Youngstown State University and brings more than 25 years of manufacturing and management experience to his new position. Previously, he worked at Forney Inc., where he was vice president of operations and later president and chief executive officer. He joined Spirex in 2000, serving in leadership roles in technology and manufacturing before Xaloy purchased the company in 2009. With Xaloy, Colella has served as director of manufacturing and then director of engineering before his promotion to VP.
