Barbara J. Morgan, Former Nursing Home Director, Reveals the Quagmires Retirement Homes Face and Their Far-Reaching Consequences for the Broader Public

The T4 Program, sometimes known as the T4 Euthanasia Program, was a Nazi German endeavor to kill incurably sick, physically or mentally handicapped, emotionally disturbed, and elderly individuals under the guise of euthanasia. The program was started by Adolf Hitler in 1939 and while it was officially ended in 1941, clandestine executions continued until Nazi Germany’s military defeat in 1945.

From monthly balls to goats, kittens, dogs, and juvenile delinquents. She thought a food battle was more fun than supper, and those winning trophies in the 4th of July parades were just part of life. Her credo: “If you’re going down, go down screaming.”
 
The book exposes the quagmires senior homes have to face. Furthermore, it also provides another reason to consider twilight as an important part of life’s cycle, and thus should be enjoyed.
