P. Raj Doshi Joins Samsung Canada As New Head Of Mobile Business

Samsung Electronics Canada is pleased to welcome Raj Doshi as the new Head of Mobile Business, effective July. In his new role, Doshi will oversee the growth and profitability of the division as it continues its steady market expansion in smartphones, tablets, PCs, wearables and mobile audio. Additionally, Doshi will be responsible for driving awareness of the Samsung ecosystem and innovation agenda in order to boost share in all business categories.

Doshi will report directly to Jeff Jo, President and CEO of Samsung Electronics Canada.

With over 30 years of experience in the Canadian telecommunications sector, Doshi is an accomplished executive leader with a proven track record of driving performance. Notable career highlights include helping launch the first LTE network in Canada, introducing one of the first free, carrier-based music streaming solutions, and helping bring 1 gigabit download speeds to Canadians.

Prior to joining Samsung, Doshi held a variety of leadership positions in the industry, including heading 5G, Wireless, Product Management, and Finance functions. Additionally, he is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), bringing valued expertise in finance, data and operations to the Samsung Canada business.
