PBS Leads News and Documentary Emmys® with 52 Nominations
For the eighth consecutive year, PBS programs have earned more News & Documentary Emmy® Award nominations than any other organization, with 52 nominations. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced the nominees. The awards honor programming distributed during the 2020 calendar year.
PBS programs receiving nominations include FRONTLINE (19), POV (8), PBS NEWSHOUR (4), INDEPENDENT LENS (8), NATURE (4), NOVA (4), GREAT PERFORMANCES (1), VOCES (1), and AMERICAN MASTERS (1), among others. A complete list of PBS nominations is below.
