Having faith is a challenge. If only our Mighty Creator appears himself at every transition at every human being on this planet. The author is enjoying such good fortune as well as readers can do too. You may ask, how do they open themselves to grace? In conjunction with her miraculous encounters. Meyer’s untiring work is faintly analogous to the legend and that legendary spiritual development in Augustine’s Confessions specifically. The book, however, was penned by one of the fathers of Christianity. Its strength owes it to the depth of Augustine’s hesitation in the time before accepting Jesus Christ. The author did not disclose such journal along that supposed “path.” Every episode, written with more clarity than the usual diary format, provides a full description of God directly, revealing more involvement in every facet of everyday life.
 
Meyer disclosed that she hears voices. May even recall dreams of prophecy and even walking beside angels. When she and her husband go to an overcrowded church, they will eventually find good seats inside as if God saved it for them. Such reality could be baffling and without a doubt. But as for the reader, is all human experience overlooked. Meyer doesn’t open too much about the everlasting mystery of God’s omnipresent reach in sync with our free will. The author’s point of view does not include any form of inquisition, and no action indicated that an effort was attempted to extend to those who embrace this enigma. 
 
Readers are given a heads-up not to hope too much of the privilege of divine oneness that she luxuriates. This is not surprising for the readers, then, tying them to lives dedicated to this book’s specific perception of the divine. Meyer may expect her readers to freely welcome this perspective. Candid evangelism won’t make up for a compelling read, and a dense path may dwindle this interesting, honest analysis into how mankind can manifest expression to Our Creator.

About the Author
Johanna S Meyer (Kiewiet) had the privilege of having two careers and she enjoyed both of them to the full. She was a Primary School teacher for 23 years. She mainly taught the children Mathematics, Languages, etc. and the children taught her how to love unconditionally! She told me, that for her, this was the most precious learning school! This is so true of the first part of her career. Then God qualified her with the children and moved her to a career with their parents, selling houses. This was so exciting for her! 
 
She is happily married to Toy, they have two children, Liesl and Freddie, both medical doctors. She has 4 grandchildren, aged between 5 and 9. Her daughter lives in the Netherlands, and her son lives on Vancouver Island. 
 
Her husband retired in June 2015, and they decided to relocate from South Africa to the island to enjoy family life. 
 
This was a huge step, but they believe they are in the will of God. In this book she describes glimpses of this move.
