Syngenta Group files Pre-listing Tutoring Report for a possible IPO and listing of A-shares on Shanghai’s STAR Market

Syngenta Group Co., Ltd. (“Syngenta Group” or the “Group”), a global leader in agricultural science and innovation, announced that it had taken a preparatory step towards a possible initial public offering (“IPO”) on the Science and Technology Innovation Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, commonly referred to as the STAR Market. The Company’s tutoring financial advisors China International Capital Corporation (CICC), BOC International and CITIC Securities have filed a “pre-listing tutoring report” with the China Securities Regulatory Commission’s (CSRC) Shanghai branch, a step preceding a listing application. Syngenta Group’s intended listing would require a formal submission and be subject to approvals from relevant regulators.
