T.G. Anonymous’ Guide to Coping with Grief Caused by Pet Loss

Miami, FL – WEBWIRE

Pet Loss. “Honey The Rock Hound” is a timely resource for Home Schoolers, private and Christian teachers and of course all churches with young child activities. The book was written for pre-teens, to help them cope with the death of a pet. It also accomplishes several other objectives. It answers tough questions other authors do not deal with, like, “How can my pet be buried out back under the lilac bush, and be with God?”

It equips them to deal with more serious loss in years to come, such as the death of a parent or close friend. It empowers them to help and guide others. The book encourages communication between teacher and student and between parent and child. In a subtle way it shows a child an acceptable way to deal with the stages of grief. Surprisingly the book has been helpful to many adults who have received it.

The approach to recovering from grief induced by loss is logical yet patient, allowing readers to dive into the root of their suffering and process things as human as possible. Practical of its cause, this self-help book offers healthy methods and outlets for coping with grief.
