Christian Thriller Fiction Story Plans to Take the Spotlight in the Film Industry

The market may be brimming with Christian-themed fiction, but Lynn Cooper took the limelight with his unique story. After getting recognition with his “Wellmington’s Cove” story, he is set to write a screenplay based on its plot together with Filmways Pictures Agency. 

“Life can be difficult as the world is a hard place to live. But our faith in God can make all the difference. I want to encourage others to trust God through this screenplay,” said Cooper. 

“Wellmington’s Cove” is a thriller story that aims to inspire others to trust in God even in the most hopeless situations. It revolves around the story of Frank Reynolds and his family who recently moved to Central California in search of a better life. But as they get entangled with a ruthless businessman, they find themselves in the midst of numerous struggles that test their faith and even threaten their lives.

With this new milestone, Cooper is looking forward to producing a screenplay with the film agency. He shares that it’s his dream to witness his faith being translated into a creative adaptation. As a dedicated minister for decades, it is his mission to inspire everyone who will encounter his work to strengthen their trust in God, which is the main goal for the screenplay.

About the Author

Lynn Cooper worked for 41 years as a manufacturing manager for General Motors. As an ordained minister, he served as a pastor for the deaf in his local church in Holt, Michigan, for 45 years. He was also involved in prison ministry for 11 years. To spread the word of God, he participated in missions and educational tours in Mexico, Honduras, England, Ireland, Scotland, Israel, Wales, Egypt, and Jordan. As a writer, he has written 10 books in total with two of them already published, three manuscripts are in queue with a publisher, and one manuscript currently in review.
