Miami, FL – WEBWIRE

Marie Ueda, educated during the occupation of the United States Army in Japan, the author starts with her childhood memories describing the postwar era in Japan and how General MacArthur freed an ill-fated Japan and transformed it into a democratic nation. Having resided in Tokyo, she observed the country’s political, social, and economic transformation. However, women’s conventional role did not progress.

During the 1970s, Ueda left Japan, became an expatriate, and studied Western Civilization at three universities abroad - Australia, Spain, and Portugal. This resulted in learning to speak four languages. She started her career as a photojournalist, working for The Guardian newspaper of London. She reported the revolt of Portugal known as the Carnation Revolution (1974-76). Upon moving to San Francisco, California, as a foreign correspondent photojournalist, she covered the gay revolution and chronicled its events between the late 1970s-80s.

In the 80s, she became a travelogue-photographer and traveled around the globe alone lavishly. The author depicts her involvement in various locations around the world including several narrow-escapes. After experiencing a fatal vehicular-accident, she then allowed her mind to a different magnitude - the life surpassing death and our contact with the universe. This raises the questions of where did we come from and where are we going. In regards to our coming future, the author informs us to ponder and understand our people, our planet, and our human consciousness, as we join to the new age of alliance of universal galaxy in this century. “Life is a Wonderful Experience,” unpredictable, enlightening, fascinating, and motivating readers across from all walks of life.

The book extensively describes the author on how she endured those roller-coaster years during her youth which not only tell the story but also serve as an inspiration, hope, and positivity. A worthy addition to your collection or your library. Grab a copy today.
