Our World is a Planet Worth Protecting

Alan Adaschik is not just an author, but also a fervent environmentalist. He is among the few who care about our planet’s well-being and believes that as a species, we presently stand on a precipice that if crossed, will ensure that the future for our children will be one of want, depredation, and suffering, in a dying and dead world.

Miami, FL – WEBWIRE

Alan wanted to see a world where nature still had the upper hand and embodied all the beauty and wonder that our planet had to offer. His book, “An Alaskan Adventure: A Travelogue and Environmental Treatise,” is a chronology of Alan’s motorhome trip to Alaska, with his wife Gayle and their two schnauzers, Scooter and Sally. The book is a tale of adventure and wonder where Alan shares with the reader an experience of a lifetime.

The author stated that someday, he wanted to obtain and display a bumper sticker that reads, People, Are Pollution. True, they are many other things as well, but in the final analysis, during our walk-through life, we leave behind a measurable wake of pollution that by itself is harmless. However, when this wake is combined with the pollution left by everyone else in the world, it becomes a challenge and threat to the world’s biological systems which sustain us. Scientists calculate that the safe level of population of the world to be 3 billion people. This is in disturbing contrast to the fact that 7.9 billion people are living on the face of our planet today.

Alan’s book is filled with a plethora of beautiful colored pictures that he took himself. This, added to the book’s interesting and informative narrative, making you feel that you were along on this journey yourself. By reading Al’s book, you also learn a lot about what it is like to travel in a modern 37-foot, Class A, motor home, that has all the conveniences that modern technology has to offer.

Al invites readers to join him in his rugged adventure traveling the Alaskan Triangle; a stretch roadway of 900 miles, defined by the cities of Tok, Fairbanks, and Anchorage. Along with this triangle, you will also make side trips to the White Mountains National Recreation Area, Denali National Park, the Top of the World Highway, and the towns of Homer and Chicken. The emphasis of the book is the preservation of nature and the wildlife that makes our brief stay on planet earth a wonderful adventure. “An Alaskan Adventure: A Travelogue and Environmental Treatise,” is the ultimate guide for a road trip to Alaska. However, the book is an informative and valuable read, even if you never have the opportunity of making the journey yourself.
