One of Spain’s most exciting and respected artist, producer and songwriting talents - Alizzz - has renewed his recording and publishing deals with Warner Music Spain and Warner Chappell Music Spain. Alizzz is known as a recording artist in his own right, but has also collaborated with huge artists such as C Tangana and Rosalia.

Alizzz also has his own record label, Whoa! Music, which he set up in 2019 and runs in partnership with Warner Music Spain. It signs and develops Spanish and Latin American artists from the ‘new pop’ scene, including Coral Casino, Paula Cendejas and Robie.

Alizzz says: “2021 is shaping up to be an amazing year for me. The reaction to my first solo singles and my production work on El Madrileño has been epic - I’m so grateful for the opportunity to work on projects that are taking me in new and unexpected directions. Hopefully, I’ll soon get a chance to hit the road and play my project live and start touring with C. Tangana again. So it’s great to know I have the team at both Warner records and publishing alongside me to support as we go on to these and even better things"

Santiago Menendez-Pidal, Managing Director, Warner Chappell Music Spain, adds: “Alizzz is a huge talent who works across genres to craft beautiful songs that speak to your soul. His dynamic partnership with C Tangana has produced some incredible music, and the album El Madrileño has lit up the charts as well as delighted critics. We’re so excited to be able to continue to support his songwriting career.”

Guillermo Gonzalez, President, Warner Music Iberia, concludes: “ Alizzz is a hugely talented producer. The sounds and atmosphere he brings to songs carry his unmistakable personal stamp, adding new levels of sophistication to any production. I feel proud to support him now in his new project as a solo artist, in which he’s proving that his talent really has no limits, reinventing and revitalizing Spanish pop-rock as part of a new movement beyond urban music.”

Alizzz is the stage name of Cristian Quirante Catalán who first broke through as an artist almost 10 years ago with his debut single ‘Neon Lights’. He went on to release a string of successful singles, such as ‘Booty’ and ‘No Te Debí Besar’, and enjoyed a high-profile live career, headlining Sónar Festival’s 25th anniversary event in 2018.

In parallel, he began a flourishing songwriting and production career. He collaborated with C Tangana on his debut album ÍDOLO, which was hailed as a masterpiece with influences from reggaeton to trap and spawned several hit singles. The pair worked together on Tangana’s follow-up album El Madrileño, a very different release which draws on influences from flamenco to Cuban bolero. The album has just become the first from a Spanish artist to enter Spotify’s global Top 10, as well as going to Number One in Spain.

Alizzz has also collaborated with artists including Amaia, Maikel Delacalle, Pedro and Rosalia. In total, he has achieved two Diamond, 18 Platinum and 11 Gold certifications internationally for his production work.
