TPMA Brings on Carol D’Amico, Former Executive Vice President at Strada Education Network, as Strategic Advisor

Thomas P. Miller & Associates (TPMA) today announced that Carol D’Amico will be joining the firm as a Strategic Advisor.
 
D’Amico is a nationally recognized author and leader in workforce and higher education and has decades of experience developing 21st century solutions for state and federal governments and the higher education sector.  

Prior to joining TMPA, D’Amico served as Executive Vice President at Strada Education since 2013.  
 
D’Amico also served in the U.S. Department of Education as assistant secretary for adult and vocational education from 2001–2003, Executive Vice President of Ivy Tech Community College, and has chaired and served on several national and state boards, including a multi-term appointment by President George W. Bush to the Institute for Education Sciences and appointments to the National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity and the National Assessment Governing Board. 
 
While serving as a senior fellow in education and co-director of the Center for Workforce Development at the Hudson Institute, she co-wrote “Workforce 2020,” which describes the demographics of the future U.S. workforce and the challenges in preparing the American workforce to prosper in the global economy. D’Amico will be bringing her expertise in education and policy to TPMA to help state governments, colleges, and universities readjust considering Covid-19, and ensure alignment of education and training models with workforce demands of the future.
