About the Author
Douglas Hoff was born in 1948 and was his class valedictorian. He is married to his wife Molly and they have two children and four grandchildren. Doug and Molly lived off the land as ranchers, and Doug was named the US Livestock Man of the Year in 2000. Doing research on his wife’s family, Doug was inspired to memorialize Anna’s remarkable and amazing life. He brought his ranching expertise and experiences to this book, creating a unique and authentic viewpoint to life on the prairie.
