Condé Nast Russia has named Arian Romanovsky as Editor-in-Chief of Tatler Russia.

He will replace Ksenia Solovieva, who was recently appointed Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Russia.

Arian has a journalism degree from the Moscow State University. Arian was soon promoted to website editor and he then moved to a similar position at GQ. After leaving the company in 2013, Arian was involved in the launch and development of the entertainment title Super. In 2016, he took on the role of digital director of Harper’s Bazaar and Grazia magazines and was responsible for the relaunch of websites, the development of social platforms and the creation of viral special projects.

In 2018, Arian returned to Condé Nast as social editor for Tatler magazine, where he edited the title’s society columns, oversaw the annual Tatler Most Invited and Tatler Party supplements and worked on the issue’s key editorial themes and exclusive interviews.

Anita Gigovskaya, President and Managing Director of Condé Nast Russia, says: “Arian is an ideal candidate for the post of Tatler Editor-in-Chief, one of the most coveted and most challenging jobs on the Russian media market. I am sincerely glad that we, as a company, have learned to attract the best talent and train them into the strongest market professionals”.

Ksenia Solovieva, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Russia, says: “Tatler’s most valuable asset is its heroes. Building relationships with them is an art of diplomacy. Over the years of working with Arian, I have got to know him and his impressive ability to connect with anyone that he encounters. His memory, which preserves the smallest details of the events of life, is boundless and his sense of humor can only be envied. I’m sure Arian will be a great leader for the Tatler Russia team.”

Arian Romanovsky says: “I joined Tatler at the age of 17 for the very first time. And precisely here, in the office on Bolshaya Dmitrovka street I have grown as a journalist and a professional. It is a great honor for me to take over the helm and continue the path that Ksenia so brilliantly set.”
