Nearpod and Flocabulary Partner with Clever to Save Teachers Time and Make Sign-on Easier for Students

Nearpod, the interactive, instructional platform that merges formative assessment and dynamic media to create engaging learning experiences,  today announced an expanded partnership with Clever, the most widely used single sign-on (SSO) portal in K-12 schools nationwide, to offer Clever’s rostering solution for schools and districts. This announcement also includes Flocabulary, a Nearpod company that uses educational hip-hop to engage students and increase achievement. With this partnership, schools using Nearpod and Flocabulary will have access to rostering and single-sign through the Clever platform at no additional cost.

According to Primary Sources: America’s Teachers on the Teaching Profession, teachers - on average - work 10 hours and 40 minutes a day. With this in mind, it is critical that educational technology is easy to use for both teachers and students, ensuring that it doesn’t add to the educator workload.

With Nearpod, teachers can upload existing materials and make them interactive in minutes, or download one of Nearpod 10,000 standards-aligned resources from the Nearpod Library. Nearpod’s seamless, accessible platform also provides teachers’ with real-time insights to student learning in an easy and intuitive way, and Flocabulary’s standards-aligned hip hop videos and supporting lesson materials are flexible and easy to use, so teachers can embed literacy and vocabulary into any subject in a way that also brings joy to their classroom.

• Single Sign-On for convenient, seamless log-in access to Nearpod and Flocabulary through Clever
• Automated rostering and account updates that help all users get started immediately
