CNE President Agnes Chu appoints senior leadership for global entertainment expansion

Condé Nast Entertainment announced a series of senior leadership appointments reporting to president Agnes Chu. The new roles are part of Chu’s ongoing transformation at the organization, prioritizing a global entertainment strategy, expanding physical production capabilities, and growing a film and television business leveraging the company’s rich portfolio of global brands and IP. The organizational alignment represents the first in an ongoing series of changes under Chu’s leadership as CNE continues to build its global presence.

JENNIFER JONES has been named Head of Global Business Affairs & Operations. Jones joins CNE from The Walt Disney Company, where she was Vice President of Business Affairs for Disney+, most recently serving as the lead negotiator for the streamer’s local original programming slate in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, North Asia, and Canada. Prior to that Jones worked in several capacities at Disney+, most notably establishing the streaming service’s initial content business parameters for scripted originals, unscripted originals, licenses, co-productions, and talent deals. Preceding her time at Disney, Jones was a senior legal executive for Marvel Entertainment. Her law career began at the distinguished firm of Munger, Tolles & Olson, where she focused on entertainment contract disputes. Jones received her law degree from Yale Law School. She is based in Los Angeles.

TEAL NEWLAND has been named SVP, Digital Video (English Language). Since 2015, Newland has held a variety of roles at the company including most recently SVP, Marketing, New Platforms, and Branded Entertainment, Condé Nast Entertainment. In her expanded role, she oversees programming, development, branded and marketing of the US-UK digital entertainment portfolio with a global audience lens.

EZZIE CHIDI-OFONG has been named SVP, Digital Video (Local Language). Leading Condé Nast’s digital video strategy and operations in the UK and international markets since 2017, Chidi-Ofong brings a unifying vision to grow CNE’s digital entertainment blueprint across Europe, Asia and Latin America through her expanded programming, development and branded purview.

CECILE MURIAS has been named SVP, Global Physical Production for CNE. She joined the company in April 2020, overseeing US digital video production for CNE Studios. Prior to joining CNE Murias ran production at Uninterrupted, the sports and culture network co-founded by LeBron James and Maverick Carter. Murias has deep experience building industry leading global production teams across the series, film, digital and podcast storytelling mediums.

REGGIE WILLIAMS has been named SVP, Global Consumer Revenue Video. Williams joined the company in November 2019 as SVP of Programming, Condé Nast Entertainment, and has previously overseen multi-platform content teams at BET and MTV. Reggie will lead the entertainment expertise for strategic consumer business initiatives that drive subscription, membership, event and commerce revenue, a blossoming sector for Condé Nast.

Additionally, CHRISTIANE MACK was previously announced as Chief Content Operations Officer in a dual report role to Agnes Chu and global chief content officer Anna Wintour.
