Atos selected by WINDTRE for the evolution of its Digital Workplace

Atos has been chosen by WINDTRE, leader mobile operator in Italy and one of the main alternative fixed operators, to transform and manage the Digital Workplace of the workstations in the company offices and dealers. The new three-year contract will start in January 2021. The agreement provides 360° management, allowing employees to work more smoothly and efficiently, without compromising safety and performance. Atos offers innovative internet-based Modern Management solutions, making it easier to manage devices and update applications.

To ensure the best user experience for WINDTRE employees, continuous monitoring of device performance is envisaged. In this way, it will be possible to know which applications work best, the log in times or if the performance of a PC is positive or requires an update. This mechanism will be further extended to corporate security checks to monitor the antivirus coverage percentage and detect any anomalies of the endpoints.

The agreement also includes the renewal of their fleet of existing computers to new energy efficiency models, EPEAT Gold certified. Moreover, Atos’ solution grants continuous monitoring and reporting about energy consumption to improve carbon footprint.
Implementation procedures will be fully automated, with the delivery of IT devices largely managed via smart locker to ensure employees’ maximum flexibility.
