Recognized as one of the world’s most successful independent filmmaking agencies, Pearson Media Group grapples one of the most discussed themes in today’s literature: Gender Actualization. In collaboration with renowned directors, cinematographers, authors, and skilled crews, the group is wildly enthusiastic in portraying the struggles of Transgenderism, homosexuality, cross-dressing, and the likes.

Although these phenomena are already widely accepted in our present society despite the habitual prejudices, for Noreen Antao, the woman in the story, it was ten times more difficult when she faced conflicts and social discrimination while she was going through the fragile path of living with a self-actualizing cross-dressing heterosexual husband and at the same time rearing two young boys.

Noreen had her second shot at marriage when she met a kind and sensitive man after her divorce. Her life seems to have begun piecing itself back together until Jason, her fiance at that time, revealed to her the day before their wedding that he takes pleasure in wearing women’s clothes. Things had never been the same again for her and her family after the marriage.

The long 15 years after had been full of tumult and conscious suffering for Noreen as she watches and helps her husband transform into the person he was destined to become. Jason was becoming more female day by day, and Noreen had this prolonged fear of losing her husband to the “other woman.”

Yet, this did not stop her from her innate inclination to empathy towards those who are trapped and who are suffering so much inwardly. Her book Walking on Eggshells is an account of her experiences married to a man undergoing a transgender transformation. With no sugarcoating whatsoever, she describes in detail the true-to-life ups and downs of helping your loved ones grow and embrace their true sexuality.

The effects of such endeavors can be drastic to one’s spouse, career, and family. Noreen Antao has succeeded in capturing the sympathy, inspiration, and understanding of millions who have picked up her book.
