“Murder Finds a Home” is a Home Run

Mississippi Writers Association (MWA) newsletter editor, Winnfred Smith, presents the first book of a suspense-packed series.

Miami, FL – WEBWIRE

Winnfred Smith, had rubbed his shoulders with a lot of authors while working as a newsletter editor for the Mississippi Writers Association. These encounters had ignited his interest in writing which was sparked when he took a typing class back when he was in tenth-grade. The most significant of these meetings is when he met the 1973 Pulitzer Award winner, Eudora Welty who won the award for her book, “The Optimist’s Daughter.”

He is known to be romantic and it is very evident in the way he writes his novels.

If you are a fan of mystery, thrill, and romance, his book “Murder Finds a Home (A John Stone Mystery Book 1),” will not disappoint.

The story revolves around a computer guy named, John Stone, who may have had an affinity with mystery-solving. John’s help was implored by a friend who wanted to find out the reason behind an employee’s murder and who had done it.

The plot of the story will take you on a rollercoaster ride that has countless twists and turns. The balance between suspense and romance is tastefully done that you will find Stone colliding with women whose both devious and deadly.

He also shows his skills as a critical thinker in the way he pieces together tiny bits of clues that might be trivial for the normal eye. This is also shown in how well he makes his decisions, even if it involves life and death.

You can truly say that this book is a masterpiece in its own right. This is also backed up by the fact that the book as well as the author, had already received commendations with one of his readers leaving an online comment saying:

“I love the fun writing style of Winnfred Smith’s books! Just enough suspense, and romance, too. A great summer beach book! I highly recommend this book!”

This book also has several five-star reviews on online purchasing platforms. Join Winnfred and John Stone.

About The Author

Winnfred got his writing interest in Mississippi, where he was president of the Mississippi Computer Society and also did their newsletter. Following that, he was newsletter editor for the Mississippi Writers Association (MWA), where he met many authors. Two things got Winnfred interested in writing. In the tenth grade he took a typing class. He was one of two boys among twenty girl-students. Ponder that influence. Then as the MWA editor, he met Eudora Welty, one of the many great authors of the South. Winnfred has been called a romantic, which you will experience in his stories as he ties romance to mystery.
