Roger Glasgow’s Brilliantly Recaptured Scottish Heritage is Joining this Year’s Book Excellence Award

The author has done painstaking research on battle strategies, weaponry, and topography as the book is accurately informative. With a thrilling sweep of historic action and the passion of timeless romance, it is full of suspense, intrigue, and danger, complete with compelling characters and rich historical detail that captures your attention until the end. The visual images are exhilarating and make the readers feel as if they are the ones riding into battles with their sword and crossbow, overlooking magnificent cliffs and plains, going through triumphant moments of brutal tragedies, and being the hero in a wonderful story.
 
This is an impressive book and should be bought by every history buff, especially 14th and 15th-century historians. About the Author:
Roger Glasgow received his Bachelor of Science degree in History and Political science in 1965 from what is now Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville in 1969.  After a 50-year career as a trial lawyer in little rock, he turned to writing.  His first book, a memoir published in 2016 entitled Down and Dirty Down South: Politics and the Art of Revenge, received an “Arkansas Gem” award from the Arkansas Library Association.  “Broadsword” is his debut novel.
