“The 600 young entrepreneurs, activists, scientists and entertainers featured in our 10th Annual Forbes 30 Under 30 give everyone reason to hope,” says Alexandra Wilson, Editor, Forbes Under 30. “Some are defying the odds and building businesses despite Covid-19; others are helping to fight the illness, serving on hospital frontlines or working with A.I. to discover new drugs.”

With the launch of the 2021 list, Forbes is kicking off a yearlong 10th-anniversary celebration of Under 30, including the signature Under 30 Summit in Detroit next October, in partnership with Rocket Mortgage, to galvanize entrepreneurs everywhere and define the way forward for a new decade.

Today’s list launch is coupled with the debut of Forbes’ Under 30 Directory, the largest publicly available directory of young entrepreneurs, comprised of more than 6,000 people from around the world who have made the Forbes Under 30 Lists in North America, Europe or Asia, over the past ten years. The Under 30 franchise represents the rise of entrepreneurship, how Forbes built a community of connected entrepreneurs who support each other and how this community is banding together to solve critical challenges and so much more. In a world where it is difficult to convene in person at this time, the Under 30 directory makes it easier for the community to communicate and collaborate.

Over the past ten years, Forbes has grown a 30 Under 30 alumni network of approximately 10,000 people worldwide. The names within this network exemplify Forbes’ impressive track record of spotlighting young game changers and industry leaders who were on the cusp of achieving still greater fame and fortune.

Travis Scott, hip-hop super star and Forbes 30 Under 30 alumn, featured on the latest magazine issue. Scott, who made the 30 Under 30 list in 2019, based mostly on his music credentials, is now helping major companies rethink their brands and transforming the way that celebrities and corporations interact.

The Under 30 list is a 365-day global platform elevated by live summits in the U.S., Asia, Europe and the Middle East, a robust community on social, and supported by major brand marketers, who tap into its power to fuel their own business.

The 2021 Under 30 list is sponsored by The Macallan Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
