To Honor Educators, Nearpod Launches Month of Giving with More Than $50,000 Worth of Prizes

The company is seeking to award more than 400 educators with Gold access to its platform while simultaneously hosting a giveaway through social media to celebrate the work teachers do every day

During the month of November, Nearpod will host a Month of Giving Gold Contest that will award Gold access to its platform. In tandem, Nearpod is hosting a Month of Giving Sweepstakes, where the company will giveaway gift cards and more to honor teachers who have been on the frontlines of the pandemic. The company invites all educators to join the conversation by following Nearpod across social media channels during the Month of Giving for a chance to win.

The Month of Giving Gold Contest, which is free to enter, will run through the month of November. Each week of the month, 140 active Nearpod Silver users will have an opportunity to receive an upgrade to Nearpod’s Gold license based on their usage of the platform. In total, Nearpod plans to give more than 400 educators upgraded access for one year, amounting to approximately $50,000 in value. Any Nearpod Silver user, who is an adult, worldwide is eligible to enter. The Silver users that teach the most lessons through the platform in the week leading up to the selection will have a chance of winning.

In addition, the company will also be holding a Month of Giving Sweepstakes for all US-based Nearpod users, with giveaways including $5 Starbucks gift cards, $50 Uber Eats gift cards and $100 Amex gift cards to teachers engaging across Nearpod’s social channels. More than 30 educators will have a chance to win these prizes each week. Any educator based in the United States is eligible to enter the free sweepstakes and have a chance to win; winners will be chosen at random from those who qualify.
