Warner Chappell Music, the global publishing arm of Warner Music Group, has entered into a worldwide publishing agreement with the multitalented rock band X Ambassadors. The group consists of lead vocalist Sam Harris, keyboardist Casey Harris, and drummer Adam Levin. Known for their infectious, anthemic sound, the band’s RIAA platinum hits include the Billboard chart smashes, “Renegades” and “Unsteady.” In addition, X Ambassadors are in-demand co-writers and producers, having collaborated with Lizzo on the Grammy-winning “Jerome,” in addition to “Cuz I Love You” and “Heaven Help Me.”

Warner Chappell Music Senior Vice President, A&R, Rich Christina, said: “Many of us at Warner Chappell have known X Ambassadors for a while now, and we’re so proud of all their accomplishments. They’ve had massive hits as artists, songwriters, and producers, and have seen big wins in the sync world. With the Warner Chappell team behind them, I know they’re poised for many more years of success.”

X Ambassadors added: “Relationships are everything to us, and Warner Chappell is home to many familiar faces, from Rich and Carianne to Keith, Katy, and Ashley. They really understand our craft and what we’re looking to do as a band. The team has great connections, and we can’t wait to tap into their incredible network of top songwriters and artists from around the globe.”

Originally from Ithaca, New York, X Ambassadors released their RIAA platinum-certified debut album, VHS, in 2015, hitting the top ten on the Billboard 200 and No. 3 on the Top Rock Albums chart. They followed with their sophomore album, Orion, in 2019 and introduced their newest EP, Belong, this year, featuring “Everything Sounds Like a Love Song,” “Happy Home,” and “Belong.” The group is also highly sought-after in the film and TV world. In 2016, they collaborated with Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Imagine Dragons, Logic, and Ty Dolla $ign on the Billboard Hot 100 hit, “Sucker For Pain,” written for the film, Suicide Squad. Last year, they worked on For the Throne, HBO’s soundtrack for the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones. Most recently, they were tapped for the motion picture The Call Of The Wild, which featured “Great Unknown.”

The band, which is managed by This Fiction, is currently working on a new album. In May, they released their latest single, “Zen,” with all of the merchandise proceeds going to the Marsha P. Johnson Institute, a non-profit that supports the Black transgender community. Throughout the years, X Ambassadors have used their platform and music to support a variety of organizations, including the American Cancer Society, American Civil Liberties Union, and Everytown for Gun Safety, among others.
