Sheila stays in their hometown of Cedar Dale, raises a family, and experiences great joys, as well as major tragedies. Johnny becomes a magazine reporter yet remains as her ever-faithful guardian angel throughout.

Author Bio
Robert G. Kingsley was born in Iowa City in 1938. Instead of following his dream of becoming a journalist, he served in the U.S. Air Force, married and had five children. He divorced and remarried, having three more children, but when his wife of twenty years died, his burning desire to write resurfaced. He intertwines fact and fiction, hazing the distinction between art and life. Aside from “A Girl Named Sheila,” he also published “My Liar’s Moon” and “Now May I Cry.”
