Forbes Announces “Scaling Up” And “Innovation Rules” – Two New Video Series Focused On Digital Transformation And The Future Of Tech

NEW YORK – WEBWIRE

Forbes announced two new video series, Innovation Rules and Scaling Up, hosted by Forbes futurist Rich Karlgaard featuring interviews with top tech leaders on topics like digital transformation and the future of tech.

Focusing on digital transformation at work, Innovation Rules: Talking With Tech Leaders will feature CEOs and thought leaders who are driving change, building value and making valuable contributions to society through technological innovation– especially in matters that matter right now like the pandemic, economic recovery and social justice.

Hosted by Silicon Valley-based Forbes editor-at-large and futurist, Rich Karlgaard, the four-part series launches on Monday, October 5 with an in-depth interview with Tami Erwin, Executive Vice President and CEO of Verizon Business where they discuss the future of 5G and more. Upcoming guests include Eric Yuan, Founder and CEO of Zoom, DJ Paoni, North American President of SAP and Shellye Archambeau, former CEO of MetricStream, board member of Verizon, Nordstrom and Okta.

“Innovation Rules aims to give C-level executives and entrepreneurs a template for successful leadership in a time of rapid change, emerging business models, social justice concerns, and pandemic challenges,” said Karlgaard. “How do you hire and motivate? What do successful company cultures look like? We’ll seek the answers to these questions and more.”

With Scaling Up: The Race For The Next Digital Platforms, Karlgaard teams up with California tech investor Jamie Montgomery, founder of the Montgomery Summit. For this four-episode series, Karlgaard and Montgomery selected fast-growth, publicly traded companies that, Karlgaard says, “have the potential to grow their value by 3-to-5 times in 3-to-5 years.” The CEOs share their vision for opportunity, how they’re scaling up, and what’s behind their rapid growth.

The first episode of Scaling Up premieres today and features Mark Mader, CEO of Smartsheet. On this episode, Mader shares how a tragedy in college shaped his conviction, and how “no-code” software will open the door to greater employee diversity. Upcoming guests include, Fred Luddy, Founder and Chairman of ServiceNow,  Rene Lacerte, Founder and CEO of Bill.com, and Rob Bernshteyn, CEO and Chairman of Coupa.

“Scaling Up will give entrepreneurs and investors a new lens on how fast-growing tech companies succeed,” said Montgomery. “We also dive into the CEOs’ personal stories, to find the source of their emotional drivers, motivation and conviction.”

New episodes of Scaling Up will appear every other Monday starting September 28 and will be offset by new episodes of Innovation Rules which will appear starting October 5. Both series will be available on Forbes.com and Forbes’ YouTube Channel.
