DALLAS, Texas – WEBWIRE

Thomson Reuters today announced EY as Strategic Implementation Services Provider of Alteryx workflows in conjunction with the ONESOURCE Tax Suite. In partnership with Alteryx, a leader in analytic process automation (APA), this will help customers unleash the power of their ONESOURCE solutions as tax departments face an increasing need for efficient processing, automation and analytical insight. EY is a Diamond-Tier Certified Implementer of ONESOURCE solutions and holds deep experience in Alteryx implementation and onboarding assistance. In teaming together, EY and Thomson Reuters have deployed connected Alteryx and ONESOURCE product solutions to help drive heightened automation and analysis in end-to-end tax processes.

Multinational corporations will now be able to simplify tax reporting processes, lower operating costs and efficiently execute the compliance challenges of multiple jurisdictions. Thomson Reuters and EY will bring together EY Tax Technology and Transformation (TTT) services along with Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE global tax technology. This alliance will streamline historically cumbersome processes such as source data cleansing and harmonization, complex state and international computations, and wrangling large datasets for diagnostic and strategic analytics.

“Collaborating with organizations such as EY and Alteryx heightens our ability to help customers solve their most critical challenges. Our alliance with EY keeps us closely connected to the evolving challenges that tax departments face and uniquely positions us to serve our clients,” says Chris Carlstead, Head of Partnerships & Alliances for Thomson Reuters. “While also providing our customers with access to Alteryx, a leader in analytic process automation, we are able to streamline the process of solving business challenges with end-to-end automation solutions.”

Tax accountants have never had more opportunity to grow their skillsets and assert their value. The pace of regulatory change and technology disruption continues to reaffirm the critical need for insights delivered by Tax. The ability to stay in front of this demand can only be accomplished with the right set of technology and processes. Thomson Reuters and EY are excited to expand on their existing alliance relationship by announcing EY as an Implementation Services Provider for Alteryx. In the world’s leading organizations, intelligent automation is the difference between keeping up with compliance and wielding insights to drive savings and strategy.
