30 startups and scaleups to represent UK tech at Node by Slush this Autumn

In collaboration with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and the Department for International Trade, we will be selecting a delegation of 30  startups and scaleups to represent the UK at Node by Slush over the Autumn. 

The delegation will be made up of tech companies and leaders from right across the UK, with a particular focus on the UK’s strengths in building sustainable and green technologies. 

As part of Node by Slush, investors and clients from Finland and from around the world will have the chance to connect with the companies through an online community, and platform.  

Digital and Culture Minister Caroline Dinenage said:  “We are excited to be partnering with Slush again this year. As one of Europe’s leading technology communities it is not only a brilliant opportunity to showcase cutting-edge UK tech firms but to collaborate with Finnish and international partners.  

“The UK government is committed to supporting tech companies of all sizes to grow so that together we can build back better from the pandemic. We are proud our scale-up scene remains among the strongest in Europe and keen to engage with the vibrant startup ecosystem in Finland.” 

The pandemic has turbocharged the digital transformation that was already underway. During the recovery, the role of technology, innovation and research will be absolutely crucial.

Having taken part in Slush for several years running, the UK delegation are pleased that Slush has created a new way for investors and startups to connect. The programme includes one-on-one meetings, access to mentoring sessions and investor workshops.
