Lisa Attenborough appointed as OUP Group Communications Director


We have appointed Lisa Attenborough as†OUPís new Group Communications Director. Lisa will report directly to CEO Nigel Portwood, and will be responsible for corporate reputation, brand, employee engagement, and contributing towards expanding our reach and impact worldwide.

Lisa started her career in marketing agencies before moving to the Financial Times when it was undergoing an international transformation. Since then Lisa has helped to grow the reputations of many organizations globally and locally, such as Siemens, United Biscuits, Marks and Spencer, SABMiller, Mondi, and Premier Foods. Most recently she was the Communications Director at Arla Foods, developing it into a household name. Lisa has also worked extensively for the not-for-profit sector through her charity, education, and sustainability work. She sits on several boards as well as holding a non-executive role for a governance company.†
