About Argyll Walking Holidays will take participants all the way north on this week-long 2-base walking tour with three nights in luxury guest house accommodation in Torridon and four nights in hotel accommodation in Sutherland. These are among the remotests parts of mainland Scotland offering spectacular scenery and great walking. Torridon offers stunning mountain and coastal scenery while in Sutherland the steep mountains rise from vast, undulating moorland. According to Norse legend, this was where the gods practised mountain building and they did it on a grand scale.

Participants will walk on the Applecross peninsula and in the Torridon mountains before they travel north to Sutherland which is in the North West Highlands UNESCO Global Geopark where the guide will learn them more about the unique geology during the walks.
