DSM announces price increase for polyamide 6 polymer grades

Royal DSM, a purpose-led global science-based company active in Nutrition, Health and Sustainable Living, announces a price increase for its Akulon® and Novamid® polyamide 6 unfilled polymer grades.

DSM is increasing the price for its Akulon® and Novamid® polyamide 6 unfilled polymer grades for Film, Extrusion and unfilled injection molding in Europe, Middle East and Africa and South America by €150/ton and in North America by $ 0.08/lb.

This increase will be effective on September 1^st 2020, where contracts allow.

While DSM continues to pursue and implement cost saving initiatives targeted at absorbing the impact of raw material escalations, this increase is necessary to ensure DSM’s sustainable long-term position as leading supplier of engineering plastics.
